Brain Health

I find it fascinating that typically humans only use 10% or less of the brain, and yet the other 90% is still there and doesn't shrink or atrophy with lack of use! This is quite different from other parts of the body such as your muscles or the thymus gland.

This speaks a lot to our potential, what we don't know, and what we haven't explored.

Without a healthy functioning brain what are we left with? Poor memory, concentration, and alertness seem to be the norm in society. Also, Alzheimer's and other brain issues are on the rise. 

It is important to do all that you can to support and protect your brain naturally.

Here are a few things that I use now, have used, and a few things that are worth considering for the brain:


Focus ATN

Super Oil

•Combines 3 different oils which are high in Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) which are needed for the normal development and functioning of the brain

•EFA's aid in the transmission of nerve impulses

•EFA's assist the body in its production of prostaglandins, short lived hormone like compounds that regulate cell activities moment by moment

 

Gotu Kola

•Traditionally used to support mental acuity, rejuvenate the brain, sharpen thinking, and enhance memory

•May encourage a restful mental state, promote relaxation, and overcome fatigue
